Things I'm Thankful For:

This afternoon I had to write the date on a paper the doctor handed me, and I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw that it's the 13th of November. Time goes by so fast I can't believe it. I kinda feel like Brooks in Shawshank Redemption after he gets out of prison and he says, "The whole world went and got itself in a damn hurry." That's probably not the actual quote. But that is how I feel.
Since it's November I thought I might just pepper my little blog with things I'm thankful for. My first one tonight is something I referenced in another blog awhile ago, but since then I got a picture which, to me, is pretty priceless.

This is Kameryn with her great grandpa Ertmann.

We had gone over to his house for dinner, and he said the blessing on the food. In it, he said that Kameryn "was a beautiful little girl" and asked that she grow up healthy and strong and that she have a good life.

I don't have adequate words to describe the feeling I got listening to him talk about her. Even though what he was saying was simple, it was beautiful. I'm thankful they got to meet each other. He's a great man.
